May 15, 2008College & Graduate School of Art Recognition Ceremony The College & Graduate School of Art’s Recognition Ceremony acknowledges our undergradute and graduate degree candidates. Cap and gown are suggested, but not required. Ample seating for all students and guests is available. The area is wheelchair accessible, but those needing special seating consideration should contact Cris Baldwin, Assistant Dean & Registrar, at 314-935-4761 or crisbaldwin@wustl.edu no later than Monday, May 12, 2008. The names of the degree candidates will appear in a special program and professional photographers will be on hand to photograph each student as they are called to the stage. May 16, 2008All-University Commencement Ceremony All degree candidates must be at their designated assembly point by 8:00 a.m. College & Graduate School of Art students and faculty will gather on the sidewalk adjacent to Sever and Lopata Halls. Cap and gown are required. Commencement will be held rain or shine. Tickets are not required for the outdoor ceremony. Even in the event of rain, the ceremony will be held outdoors. Only if the weather is sufficiently threatening will the outdoor ceremony be canceled. Announcements of cancellation will be made by 7:00 a.m. on major local television and radio stations and on the University’s web site at http://www.wustl.edu . In the event of violent weather, undergraduate degree candidates should line up by 8:00 a.m., in Francis Gymnasium in the Athletic Complex. Graduate students will be recognized at the College & Graduate School of Art Diploma Distribution and Reception (see below). May 16, 2008College & Graduate School of Art Diploma Distribution and Reception Diplomas will be distributed at this Reception. If a graduate is unable to attend, their diploma will be held in the University’s Office of Student Records, Women’s Building, Room 50, until mid-June. Diplomas not picked up by that time will be mailed to the address listed on the student’s “Intent to Graduate” form. Future Commencement DatesMay 15, 2009
