Statement
I received a Master’s of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis in December 2008, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Duke University in 2002. I am an urban-minded designer with experience working on public and private projects in New York City. At the Sam Fox School, I pursued my interests in the cultural, economic and political forces that shape communities through my elective in social work, an urban design studio, and semesters in Helsinki and Buenos Aires. This coursework shaped my sensitivity to materiality and experiential qualities of a built environment, as well as an appreciation of the larger context.
I am also a dancer, a nationally ranked rhythmic gymnast, and a former brain mapper.
