Each year, the graduates of the Sam Fox School's Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art program present their thesis projects in an exhibition at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum.

Three of this year's featured artists share the inspiration behind their artwork—ranging from the perceived value of our "image" versus the reality of imperfect bodies, to ideas of belonging and identity, to the "theory of everything" in physics—in the Museum's Palette Scrapings blog:
