Traci Moore Clay, Principal and Creative Director of Traci Moore Graphics, has been selected as a 2009 Woman of Distinction in the category of Creative Arts.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri (GSEM), the premier leadership organization for girls, is honoring ten girls and ten women in ten different categories: Creative Arts, Entrepreneurship, Government & Legal, Inspiration, Numbers, Practical Arts, Social
Sciences, Sports & Fitness, Technology and The Sciences.
Moore Clay collaborates with many local companies and non-profit organizations. In addition to serving as president of AIGA St. Louis, a professional association for design, she is an adjunct lecturer in communication design at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University's College of Art. Moore Clay and Heather Corcoran, associate professor in communication design, co-founded and developed the WashUCity Project, a program through which Washington University students teach design to University City High School students.

The 20 award recipients will be honored at the Girls and Women of Distinction awards reception on Tuesday, April 21, at Old Warson Country Club in St. Louis, Mo.AmerenUE is the event's Title Sponsor. June McAllister Fowler serves as Event Chair. Donna Martin is Honorary Chair.
