Statement
My work relates to the utilization of stringent repetition by means of line, layer, and image resulting in a system of very flat and monochromatic similes ensuing pertinence in the tautology affiliated with the subject matter. By using this method, I am creating a certain truth in the work's stability by necessity or virtue of its logical form. When working with repetition, I am able to focus on the process and control of my working environment, directing attention toward what trials and tribulations the artist goes through when working, the struggle, and the required patience for each piece.
